How I Work

Therapy is a relationship, and I believe it is important to find a therapeutic environment where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported. I welcome any questions you may have about my approach or the therapy process.

NARM

The NeuroAffective Relational Model is a trauma-informed therapy approach that explores how early experiences may continue to influence our emotions, relationships, and sense of self. Rather than focusing solely on what happened in the past, NARM helps build awareness of patterns that may no longer serve you and supports greater connection, choice, and authenticity in the present. You can learn more about NARM here: NARM Training Institute.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an integrative, evidence-informed psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched for its effectiveness in supporting recovery from trauma and other forms of psychological distress. To date, EMDR therapy has helped people of all ages around the world reduce symptoms related to trauma, anxiety, depression, and other stress-related conditions.

I received my training with Dr. Christie Sprowls in 2017 and have completed a variety of advanced EMDR trainings.
